For the launch of the new Prison Break series, Solid Dogma created an intervention based on one of this season’s most recurring symbols of freedom and captivity – a wall. In one of Lisbon’s most cosmopolitan areas the wall sits intrusively, topped with real razor wire and a realistic concrete coating, to provoke a reaction from passersby. The reaction has been overwhelming, with people posing to get their pictures taken with it and interacting with the ‘mugshot’ generator allowing their likeness to be turned into a stencil and painted onto the wall.

The whole scene came alive at night when the guards show up atop the flanking towers, armed with powerful searchlights, capable of tracking the most escape-savvy down.

Digitally, the concept had a whole new life. The wall on FOX’s website had no physical restrictions of space, giving people the chance to take their photograph at home and share their mugshot on Facebook as well as having it pasted onto the online wall. The wall in Lisbon was covered in┬áhundred’s of faces and created a hype around the season launch, thanks to the constant flow of people interacting with the wall, helping to make this FOX’s most successful premiere of 2017 so far.
